The country is small; the islands still take a timetable.

The university town is a real bus ride from Tallinn, with Jugendstil streets and a castle hill that only settle in after dinner. Five days there is too many; a same-day dash from the ferry is too few.

No. e-Residency is a digital identity for business admin. It is not a residence permit and not an entry visa. Travel permission is a separate process — we will not invent the rules for your passport.
The old town is. The tram, Bolt and a last-minute island ferry are not. Buy TLT in the app while you still have signal.
City maps and tickets: about 1 GB a day is plenty if you are not streaming on the train. Islands want an offline map for the last stretch.
The airport has shops. An eSIM skips them and has the tram or Bolt pin up before you hit the cold air.
Only on a regional Europe plan that lists them. The bus to Riga and the ferry to Helsinki are short ideas and hard borders for a country plan.

Bolt, a TLT QR and an Elron delay all assume a live phone. An Estonia eSIM is online at Lennart Meri (TLL) without a kiosk that wants to sell you a prepaid you will lose in a week.
If you hop to Riga or Helsinki, read the country list. Those are normal weekends. A Estonia-only plan is not a Baltic pass.
