It is electronic and cheap compared with a fine. Petrol stations and the official site sell it. A rental car may already include it — ask, then check the windscreen story is real.
Walk or row the island early, eat the kremšnita, then leave for Bohinj if you want space. Treating Bled as a three-night base is how you meet every coach in Central Europe.
Postojna is the train-through-the-dark celebrity. Škocjan is the gorge. Pick one if time is short; do not pretend they are the same ticket.
Give the coast a night. Salt pans, a wall walk, a plate of fish. Day-tripping only is how you meet the parking and miss the evening light on the square.
