Seychelles is granite that forgot to be a continent: Mahé with Victoria and Beau Vallon, Praslin with Anse Lazio and the Vallée de Mai, La Digue with bicycles and Anse Source d'Argent. The rupee (SCR) is the money. Creole, English and French share the same minibus. This is not a hop-on hop-off archipelago; it is a ferry ticket and a weather window.
Cat Cocos and the other inter-island boats are the public spine. La Digue does not want your hire car — it wants a bike and patience for ox-carts on the road to the beach. The Vallée de Mai is a palm forest with a ticket, not a roadside copse. Fish curry, breadfruit and a grilled jobfish will do more for the week than another hotel buffet lap.
April to May and October to November sit between the monsoons and are often the calmer seas. The southeast trades from May to September can fluff the east-facing beaches and bless the west. Summer cyclone risk is a real forecast, not a mood. Pack reef shoes; the granite is beautiful and unforgiving on bare feet.

Hire a bike near the jetty, carry water, and accept that Anse Source d'Argent is a park ticket plus sand through the rocks. A car is the wrong fantasy.
The coco de mer is the celebrity. Stay on the path, go early, and do not treat Praslin as only Anse Lazio. The two halves of the island are different days.

If the plan names Seychelles, yes — one country. Coverage still thins on coves and trails. Unlocked iPhone XS, Pixel 3 or Galaxy S20+ can install it before you land on Mahé.
